Branching out from a renowned company was no mean feat to keep abreast and on top! Incorporated in 1997, Electronic Products Ltd kept a low profile of its excellent products and service. Everyone knows that buying products like Omron, RCH, CHD and others, one can rest assured of a trouble free product for years! Although our products were already known in 1997, this small company strived and succeeded in maintaining such a high level that it was awarded a Quality Mark by the Government of Malta early in 2005 and an ISO 9001:2000 certification later in the year. Our humble beginnings in the former workshops at Cannon Road, Sta. Venera to today’s premises in Psaila Street, Sta. Venera show our company’s strength: be of good service to our customers both by supplying their needed products and by continued and consistent high quality service. Important milestones for the persons involved in this company include the introduction of an Airport Shop Management and Point-of-Sales System in the new International Airport at Luqa in 1992. The maintenance of this system was entrusted to the company continually until 2004. The introduction of a VAT system in Malta in 1995 had a very positive impact on our main line of products and service: Cash Registers. In a matter of few months our market share doubled from 25% to slightly more than 55%. More than just grabbing a good market share, the strength lies in maintaining it. We have done so until now! Further, in 2003, our company introduced in the Maltese market, the Electronic Shelf Labeling at Chain Supermarket. With this installation, we gained the momentum of being at the forefront of high quality products incorporated in high quality service. After this adventure we are now setting new benchmarks for stock management software on the islands through eShop. Taking the form of conventional POS Software it is adaptable and customizable to practically any environment since it is based on Microsoft Windows. To ensure that we are not enclosed or confined to our shores we have recently set up Way-Tec Trading with the aim of supplying our products and services to our foreign clients. More to come…
